At WanderSail, we look for products that make adventuring easier. Our products are made for travel, camping and everyday active lifestyles. For us it is natural to start with camping cutlery.
Camping Cutlery
Our first product, stainless steel camp utensils, are versatile, sustainable and affordable. WanderSail’s travel flatware is lightweight, portable and easy to clean. The neoprene carrying case assures our utensils are ready to go when you are. In our house we keep a few of sets with the camping gear and a few sets in our “adventure cooler”. By storing our reusable camping flatware in the adventure cooler, when we decide to head out on an adventure we are sure to have them handy even on a simple day trip.
Why Reusable?
Why is reusable camping cutlery important? We have reduced our use of single-use items. We want to make it easy for you to do the same. According to Earth911, each year Americans dispose of enough paper and plastic utensils, and cups to circle the equator 300 times. That is a lot of waste! As a society we aren’t just pulling out the plastic at kids’ parties. With over 2 billion takeout orders made a year, there is a lot of plastic being tossed away.
WanderSail decided to offer reusable camping flatware to help solve the problem. Our flatware is light enough to toss in a backpack. The carrying case keeps the set clean and all the pieces stay together so they are easy to find when you need them. WanderSail Camping Cutlery is easy to throw in with your or your kids lunch, or even take it with you to use on the road. We rinse ours off, put the sets back in the neoprene cases, and then wash them at home. That way things stay nice and clean. The neoprene case is machine or hand washable.
Easy to Use and Economical
Using reusable travel cutlery is also economical. We aren’t purchasing single-use items, we made one investment that will be in use for years to come. WanderSail Camping Cutlery is sustainable.
